'Nikko
Blue'
Hydrangea macrophylla
How could a garden be complete without
a hydrangea? Everyone MUST have at least one! Blooms are numerous and
'Nikko Blue' prefers morning sun in our garden. Needs shelter from the
late afternoon heat. Great for cut flowers. |
Hybrid Tea Rose
A very fragrant rose with plenty
of buds. Blooms early spring and again in late fall.
Several flushes of bloom each time as long as you deadhead. Water at
the base to discourage black spot.

'Minnie Pearl' Daylily
You can't beat this daylily for
reliability and continuous blooms. Blooms from early spring until late
fall in our garden! Deadhead for more flowers and a cleaner look.
Just loves the sun. Can easily be divided for more plants! |
Summer Begonia
A summer annual in our garden. We
left this one in a pot all summer and it did just fine! Keep it well
shaded from the summer sun.

Louisiana Iris
Iris appear to be very delicate but they
actually are one of the toughest perennial plants around. This iris
was picked up at a local garden center with no tag so we are unsure of the
"true identity". What a beauty!!
